Mini-Vacation Rules/Guidelines

NO PURCHASE REQUIRED TO ENTER OR WIN

1. ELIGIBILITY: The "Lake Cumberland Resort" Mini-Vacation Sweepstakes is open only to individuals who are legal residents of Canada and the U.S. and are twenty-five (25) years of age or older at the time of entry and own a credit card in good standing to be used for damage deposit only. Employees of Lake Cumberland Resort and any of their affiliate companies, subsidiaries, agents, and advertising and promotional agencies, as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible. Lake Cumberland Resort Mini-Vacation Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.
2. SPONSOR: The Lake Cumberland Resort Mini-Vacation Sweepstakes is sponsored exclusively by Lake Cumberland Resort and Rental Property Owners through expressed documented agreement.
3. AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES: Participation in the Lake Cumberland Resort Mini-Vacation Sweepstakes constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein in a timely manner. Prizes are to be scheduled in cooperation with a vacancy of a prize unit at the expressed dates available by Lake Cumberland Resort in cooperation with the schedule of the prize winner. Lake Cumberland Resort holds final decision of dates to be provided to winner.
4. ENTRY PERIOD: The Lake Cumberland Resort Mini-Vacation Sweepstakes entries from 05:07 pm EST November 21st, 2009 thru November 21st, 2010 at 11:59 pm EST. Entries received prior to or after the Entry Period will be disqualified.
5. ENTRY: You may enter by filling out the form provided by opt-in specific request from the www.lakecumberlandresort.com site or form through our Email Campaign return request for information for submittal. Complete, and submit the online entry form. There is a limit of one (1) entry per person, regardless of method of entry. Any use of agencies or robotic, repetitive, automatic, programmed, or similar entry methods will void all entries by that entrant. All entries become the property of Lake Cumberland Resort.
6. DRAWING: On or about the tenth day of each following month thru November 21st, 2010, the Sponsor will select one Grand Prize winner in a random drawing of all entries received. Sponsor's decisions are final. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Sponsor will attempt to notify the potential winner within seven (7) days of the drawing. If a potential winner cannot be contacted within seven (7) business days after the first attempt to contact him/her, Sponsor shall have the right to disqualify that potential winner and select an alternate potential winner in his/her place at random from all entries received.
7. REQUIREMENTS OF THE POTENTIAL WINNER: Except where prohibited, the potential winner may be required to complete and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release (the "Affidavit/Release") within ten (10) days of being notified. If the potential winner fails to sign and return the Affidavit/Release, Sponsor will select an alternate potential winner in his/her place at random from all entries received. Prize is nontransferable and non-refundable and must be accepted as awarded. No cash or other substitution may be made, except by Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize in whole or in part with another prize of equal or greater value if the prize is not available for any reason as determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion. Winners are responsible for all taxes associated with receipt of prize. No change in travel arrangements can be made once the booking has been confirmed.
8. GENERAL CONDITIONS: Sponsors reserve the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify the Lake Cumberland Resort Sweepstakes with a 30 day advance notification of its discontinuance posted on the web site.
9. PUBLICITY: Except where prohibited, participation in the Lake Cumberland Resort Mimi-Vacation Sweepstakes constitutes winner's consent to Sponsors' use of winner's name, likeness, voice, opinions, biographical information and province of residence for promotional purposes in any media without further payment or consideration.
10. PRIVACY: All information submitted by entrants as part of this Lake Cumberland Resort Mini-Vacation Sweepstakes will be treated in accordance with Sponsors' Privacy Policies.
11. RELEASE: By receipt of a prize, winner agrees to release and hold harmless Sponsors and their officers, directors, employees, and agents (the "Released Parties") from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Lake Cumberland Resort Mini-Vacation Sweepstakes or receipt or use of any prize.
12. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: The Released Parties are not responsible for: (a) any inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants or printing errors; (b) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the Lake Cumberland Resort Mini-Vacation Sweepstakes; (c) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to electronic malfunctioning of any network, hardware or software; (d) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Lake Cumberland Resort Mini-Vacation Sweepstakes or the processing of entries; (e) lost, delayed, misdirected, or undeliverable mail; or (f) any injury or damage to persons or property including, but not limited to, death, which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant's participation in the Lake Cumberland Resort Mini-Vacation Sweepstakes or receipt of any prize.
13. WINNERS: Will be posted on Lake Cumberland Resort’s web site for review within 24 hours of drawing.
